Letter from the owner of Against the Clock Publishers:

I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Pamela Harris. As a publisher of college-level textbooks I wanted to tell you about Pamela's involvement in our series of books and how much her work has contributed to our success.

Over the past few years, and three releases of the Adobe Creative Suite software, Pam has worked as part of our team to produce The Professional Portfolio Series of books. Our titles are project-based books that have been developed specifically for the educational market - our student books are accompanied by instructor resources that include a variety of tools for presentation, testing, and more.

Pam worked with our team on content development - building and modifying the table of contents for our books. As part of the team, she worked on specific content - testing, verifying and developing alternate ways to deliver important information, features and functions of the software. Pam was also instrumental in the development of our instructor resources. While there were several people involved, Pam lead the team in the creation of testing materials and provided direction on presentation tools used in classrooms around the country.

The Against The Clock Professional Portfolio series of books has been published since 2005 with a total of seven titles published for each Adobe Creative Suite release. While Pam may not be mentioned in each book, she has been involved and contributed to at least the following titles:

Pam knows the software well, is a strong writer, a detailed editor and has an excellent understanding of what a graphic-design student needs to prepare for the marketplace. Most important, Pam has been a delightful addition to our company.
